Charisma.
Charisma is natural, let yourself be the one with its flow.
The way you speak and move, your presentation and your speech flow affects how your guests feel. Do you want to sell more to them? You have to earn their trust. Present the most authentic version of yourself when you communicate with a guest. It is necessary to be familiar with your strengths & weaknesses to make your performance enjoyable for both parties. You want to improve your presentation and improve the effect of your natural charisma? To make the guest to trust you more? Follow these tips and you will see the immediate effect:
1. React consciously & realistically
2. Don’t oversell yourself
3. Use eye contact to extend the depth of confidence between you & your guests.
Self-confidence or ego are based on your self image, whereas charisma is an unspecified feeling you evoke in others when you’re present in a room.
To be your own person, and to possess a healthy self-confidence while coming across to a guest as welcoming, determines the energy of a space, a conversation, or the feeling they perceive when you’re standing behind the bar. That is what charisma is. It’s an unseen aspect which does not rely on the way you move, or the way you speak; it’s solely dependent on how you act as a human being.
More about charisma and presentation can be found in my book.
