Save the date: Mirror Hospitality Expo ‘25
Sharing knowledge of and passion for hospitality and cocktails in a luxurious and intimate setting.
Mirror Hospitality Expo, Central Europe’s premier bar show, is returning for a third year from May 5th to 6th, 2025, at the Radisson Blu Carlton Hotel in the heart of Bratislava. The two-day event provides a blend of educational experiences, market of local Slovak brands, tastings of both food and drink, and guest shifts, all selected for their high quality and innovation.
Mirror Hospitality Expo is honoured to welcome 28 bars from across the globe to participate in seminars, masterclasses, and guest shifts. The educational two days are set within a broader cocktail week, May 4th to 8th, with more guest shifts at various venues, popups, and activities to share the locality. A new event is also in the works, stay tuned for more details to come!
The creators of Mirror Hospitality Expo are the team behind Mirror Bar, Bratislava, which earned its recognition on The World’s 50 Best Bars extended list in 2023 and 2024, securing the 62nd spot. The team aims to showcase the exciting talent emerging from the Slovak and Central European bar scene, as well as host renowned global industry names.
Guests
The Expo will highlight other hidden gems in Central and Eastern Europe, from Krakow, Split, Zagreb, Prague, Budapest, and Vienna, bringing other bars from this lesser known region to the fore. The bars Nouvelle Vague from Tirana, Albania, and Purovoku from Thessaloniki will also join the Expo.
Bars from the rest of Europe will be there as well, each with their own special touch, whether vinyl lovers at Moebius (Milan) and Bird (Copenhagen), dedication to environmental or social principles like Cambridge Public House (Paris), and Little Red Door (Paris), or basement understatedness with Lucy’s Flower Shop (Stockholm).
International guests bring even more diverse knowledge and views, and Mirror Hospitality Expo is looking forward to bringing together acclaimed experts from other continents. Maybe Sammy (Sydney), which has stacked up awards since opening, will be there from down under, as well as Teresa (New Zealand), which focuses on local and foraged slow drinks. Origin (Singapore) and Barchef (Toronto) will also bring their boundary-pushing innovation to Bratislava.
Education is a main objective of the expo, covering practical skills specific to bartending, such as carbonation, as well as soft skills. Mirror Hospitality Expo will also bring educators to bring awareness and solutions regarding issues facing the bar industry, from sustainability to inclusion. Ms. Franky Marshall, a well known mentor and educator, will come from New York, as well as The Ada Coleman Project, dedicated to supporting women+.
Uniqueness of Mirror Hospitality Expo
Mirror Hospitality Expo is built on four pillars of benefits for attendees: networking, education, tasting experience, and global fair. The Expo is motivated by a philosophy of passion, sharing and celebration of hospitality, summed up in 12 phrases such as The Art of Hospitality, The Joy of Sharing, The Support for Community, The Hunger for Growth, and The Energy of Success.
Due to its limited capacity, attendees get a chance to meet not only with each other but also with the speakers and guests of the highest caliber. The intimate setting allows for personal dialogue and connections within the industry, fueling further sharing of knowledge and experience.
Stanislav Harciník, co-host of Mirror Hospitality Expo, is looking forward to another year, saying, “Each year we have improved upon the last, creating a unique and memorable experience for everyone who comes. We’re honored that we can support the local community by bringing the global industry to them, and at the same time we’re proud to show our lesser-known region to the international bar community, and share what it has to offer.”
A full schedule and complete list of seminars will be made available on www.mirrorhospitalityexpo.com.
