When using garnish, think about the whole design of the cocktail and its complexity. The functionality of a designed product should always remain a priority. If your design works, then your product sells.  

A guest’s experience begins with the general visual impact of your product, continues along with the object itself, dives into the beverages aroma and closes at the detection of flavor. These aspects or steps define your bar to the guest. But not to forget, your product and the experience it offers aren’t the only defining factors included in visual stimulation.

Pay attention to details, keep the connection between garnish and the cocktail itself and don't forget that it also has to be functional. No matter how beautiful it is, the main point of any garnish is to complete the design, flavors and whole of the cocktail.
